Fishtank

Turn a shared screen into a living aquarium. Watch fish explore their surroundings, then use your phone to choose the inhabitants, feed them and change the scenery.
Features
- Eight aquarium themes, from planted freshwater to glowing deep-sea displays.
- Choose fish populations, scenery, lighting, water flow and bubbles.
- Feed the inhabitants and watch them gather around the food.
- Several visitors can tend the same aquarium together without names or accounts.
- Hide the heading and QR panels independently for a quieter display.
Set up and use
- Open Fishtank on your display.
- Scan the QR code to open Fishtank Control on your phone.
- Choose a tank type and use the plus and minus buttons to change its population, up to 60 inhabitants.
- Choose scenery, lighting and water movement, or tap Feed the fish. Allow eight seconds between servings.
Each tank type remembers its own population and scenery choices. Settings are remembered in the display's browser for that room; feeding is a temporary event. Keep at least one aquarium display open while using the controls. Click the display to toggle fullscreen where supported.
Choose an aquarium
- Freshwater: angelfish, discus, gouramis, tetras, guppies and corydoras, with shrimp and a snail. Choose Planted, Castle or Shipwreck scenery; the scenery can cycle every five minutes.
- Bioluminescent: artistically enhanced luminous fish and fins against the dark Luminous Garden or Violet Grotto.
- Coral Reef: clownfish, tangs, chromis, royal grammas and fire gobies among swaying corals in Coral Lagoon or Reef Arch.
- Jellyfish: six kinds of drifting jellies, with Midnight Glass or Velvet Dusk scenery and plankton to feed them.
- Japanese Garden: six koi-inspired colour varieties, pale gravel, mossy stones and falling maple leaves in Stone Path or Moss Islands.
- Amazon Blackwater: tea-coloured water, roots and fallen leaves, with six fish species in Root Cathedral or Leaf Lagoon.
- Seahorse Garden: six colour varieties that hold onto stems, swim and settle again in Seagrass Meadow or Willow Garden.
- Rocky Cichlid: six colourful varieties that patrol territories and retreat into shelters in Limestone Caves or Slate Terraces.
This is a decorative aquarium with imaginative animation, rather than a biological simulation.
