# Surf Controller

`surf-c` is the smartphone controller for the multiplayer RCWeb bodyboarding game at `/surf/`.

Choose a rider name and board colour, then use:

- **Carve left / right**: hold to move along the wave face.
- **Paddle**: hold to build power and move toward the pocket.
- **Trick**: tap near the lip with at least 30 power.

- Hold-to-carve and paddle controls.
- A trick button for jumps near the lip.
- Score, rank, energy and heat feedback.

## Join a heat

Scan the QR code on the [Surf display](/surf/appinfo), choose a name and board colour, then ride with the room. Save enough energy before attempting a trick.
