# Shootout Controller

**Shootout Controller** (`shootout-c`) turns a phone into an aiming controller for the shared `/shootout/` penalty game.


## Features

- Aim by tapping or dragging in the goal.
- Refine your target during a five-second countdown.
- Keep your score and queue place after reconnecting.

## Controls

- Enter a short player name and tap **Save**.
- Wait until the shared display shows your turn.
- Tap or drag inside the illustrated goal to place the target.
- Your first touch starts a five-second countdown. You may refine the aim until it reaches zero.
- Watch the shared display to see whether the shot beats the AI goalkeeper.

## Join

Scan the QR code on the [Shootout display](/shootout/appinfo), save your name and wait for your turn. Keep using the same browser to recover your score after a short interruption.
